Leon Anthony Charpentier, 33, a native and lifelong resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010.

Mr. Charpentier was a member of the Duckhead Club, and enjoyed fishing and boat riding.


He is survived by his parents, Anthony “T-Boy” and Tina Chouest Charpentier; sister, Magen (Gregory) Dufrene; nephew and godson, Sonny Charpentier; grandmothers, Betty Charpentier and Emelda Chouest; and companion, Sarah Matherne and her children, Alex and Arianna Matherne.


He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Anthony “Sonny Boy” Charpentier and Joseph “Webb” Chouest.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday, March 1, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, at Falgout Funeral Homes of Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.

He will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Homes Inc. of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
