Leon Joseph St. Martin, 50, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, June 19.


He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Duplantis St. Martin of Houma; daughter, Nikki St. Martin Daigle and husband, Kevin Daigle, of Houma; brothers, Roy St. Martin Jr. of Alabama, Robert Blackwell Jr., Barry Blackwell, Bernard St. Martin, Willard St. Martin and Dr. William St. Martin of Houma; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Daigle, Alexis Daigle, Haleigh Daigle and Brayden Daigle.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Roy J. St. Martin and Jeanne Theriot St. Martin.

He was a bail bondsmen with St. Martin Bonding Service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper and motorcyclist. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21 at St. Eloi Catholic Church followed by mass. He will be buried at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
