Leonard Anthony Duplantis, 73, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
Mr. Duplantis was a member of the National Guard.
He is survived by his sons, Eric (Christy), Dwayne (Cindy) and Warren (Laura) Duplantis; daughter, Sharron (Tom) Collins; sister, Carolyn “Anne” Duplantis Dupre; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three nephews; three nieces; and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Easton “J.B.” and Marguerite Hebert Duplantis; nephews, Cleveland Dupre and Jerry Verrett; and one great-nephew, Drake Dupre.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
