Leota B. Folse, 89, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 2:07 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011.
Mrs. Folse was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton E. Folse; son, Ronald (Faith) Folse; daughters, Dolores St. Pierre and Kathryn Folse; four grandchildren, Danielle and Christopher St. Pierre, and Justin and Jennifer Folse; one great-grandchild, Evan Allen; and three nieces, Charlene Picciola, LaVada Houck and Stephanie Sutton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elva and Ada Breaux; and two sisters, Adrella Steen and Ena Houck.
She is buried at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Mary Nativity School, 3500 La. 1, Raceland, La. 70394.
