February 3, 2012Leroy Joseph Verrett, 70, a native of Ponchatoula, La., and resident of Bayou L’ourse, La., died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Verrett; brothers, Donald, Douglas and Russell Verrett; sisters, Betty Pelican, Patricia Vice, Judy Cochran, Sharon Harrington and Anna Oliver; and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gillis and Mary Verrett; and two sisters, Barbara Tipton and Lorraine Guillory.
Burial was at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Amelia, La. (Twin City)
