Leroy Joseph LeBoeuf Sr., 76, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gray, La., died at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010.


Mr. LeBoeuf was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and taking care of his animals. He worked as a deputy under Sheriff Rozands. He was a volunteer firefighter and a welder in the oil industry.


He is survived by his wife, Wilma Mae Pitre LeBoeuf; sons, Glenn Sr. (Shirley), Lee Roy Jr. (Foxy), Nolon Sr. (Tina); daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Lindsay, Peggy (Lance) Breaux and Nancy (Scott McCoy) LeBoeuf; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Ellender; brothers, John Sr. and Emile (Christine) LeBoeuf Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile “Jim” Paul LeBoeuf Sr and Flavia Trahan LeBoeuf; brothers, Huey P. LeBoeuf Sr and Russell LeBoeuf; and brother-in-law, Arthur “Tony” Ellender.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2.
