Law enforcement makes arrest in 15-year-old priest murder case

Leslie Ann Bourgeois, 39, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Dallas, TX, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at 12:42 p.m.
She is survived by her mother, Christina Mokrycki Bourgeois; one brother, Michael Bourgeois and his wife Connie; her grandmother, Helen Mokrycki; one nephew, Alex Bourgeois; one niece, Casey Firmature; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elgin M. Bourgeois.
Leslie was a nurse with Center for Oncology Research and Treatment in Dallas. She was notorious for the love of animals and fishing. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
Visitation is Thursday, September 20, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses or donations to the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter are preferred.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
