Leslie Everett Chruma, 86, a native of Kolin and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, March 21, at 4:35 a.m.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Everett Chruma and wife, Anne, of Kingwood, Tx., Robin Lyle Chruma and wife, Mona, and Douglas Lynn Chruma and wife, Kimberly, of Houma; daughter, Sandee Vinson Chruma of Houma; grandsons, Robin Leslie Chruma, Brenden Kyle Vinson, Jeremy Paul Chruma of Houma, Kelly Christopher Chruma of Mobile, Al., and Ryan Naquin of Houma; granddaughters, Lacee Dianne Chruma, April Lynn Chruma Dazee and Andee Lynn Churma Dazee of Houma; great-grandchildren, Christopher Chruma, Brittany Chruma, Garrett Chruma, Lee Lena Jr., Lyle Dazee, Aaron Joseph Dazee, Hailie Alissa Dazee; and great-great-granddaughter, Camden Naquin of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Elizabeth Jones Chruma; his parents, Joseph Frank Chruma and Katie Isabelle Wright; and grandson, Jeremy Paul Chruma.
He was a retired welder for Columbia Gas System. He was a Protestant.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, March 24, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.
