Lester Anthony Babin, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Mr. Babin was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He was a business owner for 35 years at Pelican Rental Tools Inc. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, spending time in his garden and helping others get started in business.
Mr. Babin was a member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as a 4th Degree Knight at Holy Family and a 3rd Degree Knight at Annunziata. He was a U.S. veteran, having served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Babin; son, Chad (Sherry) Babin; daughters, Wendy Babin and Holly (Joseph) Daquana; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
