Lester “Pasam” Crochet Sr., 84, a native of White Castle, La., and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Thursday, March 3, 2011.


Mr. Crochet served in the U.S. Air Force for six years.


He is survived by his wife, Emilie LeBlanc Crochet; sons, Gregory Sr. (Dorothy), Clint Sr. (Leslie) and George Sr. (Melissa) Crochet; daughters, Patricia Navarre, and Normie and Julie Crochet; brothers, Lawrence and Gene Cedatol and Jesse Crochet; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa Mae Settoon and Nera Crochet; one son, Lester Crochet Jr.; three brothers, Louis, Leo and Gerald Crochet; and one sister, Delphine Sanchez.

He is buried at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, La. (Landry’s)
