February 2, 2010Lester Louis Landry, a native of Youngsville, La., and a resident of Broussard, La., died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at a Lafayette hospital.
Mr. Landry enjoyed fishing, hunting and outdoor activities.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Authement Landry; daughters, Becky Dischler and Donna Harrison; stepdaughter, Tricia Freeman; stepson, “Boo” Freeman; brothers, Gerald “Killer,” Roland, Raoul and Roy Landry; sisters, Sylvia Hill, Leona Corley and Odette Stakes; three grandchildren, Christopher Harrison, Adam Broussard and Cory Harrison; and three step-grandchildren, Ben Harrison, Darren Harrison and Asa Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Nella Fabre Landry; sister, Geraldine Landry LeBlanc; and his first wife, Lucille Verret Landry.
He is buried at Calvary Cemetery.
