Letty Ann Hebert, 79, a native and resident of Chauvin, Louisiana, died at 9:50 a.m. July 8, 2014.
Mrs. Hebert was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, and was always able to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Amos “Simmy” Pierre Hebert; daughters, Paula (Percy III) Dardar and Stacey M. Hebert; brothers, Newton “Black” (Opal) and Terry (Gloria), Alvin “Lut” (Candy) and Danny “Butch” (Gail) Blanchard; sisters, Mernelle (Joseph “Dennis”) Dupre, Delta Mae (Loches) LeBoeuf, Gaynelle (Jeffery Jack) Hutchinson, Sherry (Ronald) Boquet and Donna Lee Brunet; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one special nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvard Felix and Sadie Marie LeBoeuf Blanchard; brother, Kirby Blanchard; sisters, Alvina (Larius) Guidry, Patsy (Billy Don) Marshall and Merline Blanchard.
The Hebert family extends special thanks to Ronald and Sherry Boquet, Vickie and Clara Neil, Betty, Rusty and Lisa Hebert, Peggy Portier, Drs. Jules Dupont, Richard Abben and Ray Cinnater and the TGMC staff.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Chauvin Funeral Home, and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be follow.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
