Lillian “Lin” A. Callais, 89, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 7:50 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011.
Mrs. Callais was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.
She is survived by her husband, Alcide Callais; son, Richard (Phyllis) Callais; daughter, Frances (Wallace) Smith; sister, Alza Doucet; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Ada Crosby Anselmi; daughter, Susan Callais; brothers, Walter, Warmosh and Irvin Anselmi; and sister, Bermine “Mim” Dantin.
She is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
