Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Lillian Washington Martin, 96, a resident of Morgan City, La., and a native of Lake Charles, La., died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Teche Regional Medical Centerl.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, Emmett (Linda) Washington; daughter, Wanda (Cornel) Keeler; brother, Earl Washington; sisters, Thelma Smith and Betty (Frank) Caudle; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
She is buried at Providence Memorial Park in Metairie, La.
