Lillie A. Vicks Young, 60, a native and resident of Lafourche Parish, La., died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Hope Young and Renee (Nelson Jr.) McCoy; son, Kentrell Young; six stepchildren; sister, Linda (Eric) Williams; brothers, Freddie Jr., Robert, Wayne, Nolan (Sylvia) and Charles Vicks; six grandchildren; 20 step-grandchildren; and six great-step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Young Jr.; parents, Freddie Sr. and Mildred Vicks; and sisters, Mary Joseph and Janice Vicks.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Beacon Light Baptist Church in Houma with burial to follow at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery No. 1 in Thibodaux, La. (Kennedy)
