Lillie Mae Woods, 51, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 3.


She is survived by her husband, Claude Woods Sr. of Thibodaux; father, Albert Daniels Sr. of Thibodaux; two sons, Michael Mills and Raynell Mills Jr. of Thibodaux; five brothers, Albert Daniels Jr., Rev. Herman Daniels and wife Beverly, and Ronald Daniels and companion Teri all of Thibodaux and Alvin Daniels of Hazelhurst, Ms., and Donald Daniels Sr. and wife Arlene of Donaldsonville, La.; four sisters, Rose Mary Boyd and Linda Coleman and husband Clarence and Anna Belle Coler of Thibodaux and Helen Austin of Lake Jackson, Tx.; three stepsons, Claude Woods Jr. of San Fernando, Ca., Terence and wife Suzette of Dallas, Tx., and Darron and wife Travonda of Austin, Tx.; two stepdaughters, Nicole Woods and Gayleen Charles and husband Regis of Houma, La.; and eight grandchildren


She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Arsene Daniels; one sister, Marion McBride; and grandparents, George and Ellen C. Arsene and Ella Giles Green.

She was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church where she served as an usher and secretary of the church. She was an employee of Peltier Lawless for 23 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading and sewing.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Peter Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
