Linda "Chief" Irma Henry

Linda “Chief” Irma Henry, 58, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Lanhan, Md., died Sunday, April 5.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Robichaux Henry; sons, Gerald Sims Jr. and wife Monica, and Vincent Sims; brothers, Reginald Henry and John Henry; sister, Maxine Slack; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Henry; and sister, Pamela Henry Craft.

She was a Baptist and an executive secretary for the city of Washington, D.C.

The funeral was Monday, April 13, at New Zion Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
