Linda F. Galley Billiot, 94, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012.
She is survived by her sons, Eugene (Mary), Darel (Rose), Leroy, Harold (Vickie), Steve (Connie), Charles (Lena) and Leroy Jr. (Robin) Billiot; daughters, Jenerie Prochaska, Verda Landry, Daisy Culberton and Elsie (Claude) Prosperie; sisters, Betty Oliva and Dorothy Howard; 35 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Billiot; parents, Homer and Jean Galley; son, Aubry Billiot; brothers, Harry, Claude, Norris, Peter and Norman Galley; sisters, Irene Molinere and Rita Hebert; and great-granddaughter, Alexandra Blaisdell.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Montegut. (Falgout)
