March 2, 2010Lloyd Bernard Rhodes, 73, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houston, Texas, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.
Mr. Rhodes was a U.S. Marine veteran.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Paul Rhodes of Gray; brothers, Earl and Thomas Rhodes Sr., both of Thibodaux; sisters, Lisker Wagner and Lillian Johnson of Thibodaux, Eula Pearl Emanuel of California, and Thelma Rhodes of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Madison and Maggie Rhodes; sisters, Erma R. Young, Gertie M. Johnson, Fabiola Rhodes, Victoria Jones and Elouise Peltier; brothers, James, Edward and Aaron Rhodes; and his grandparents, Hudson and Maria Williams, and Aaron and Irene Rhodes.
He is buried at Moses Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
