Lloyd James Sauce, Sr., 67, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Ricohoc, La., died Monday, Aug. 24, 2015.
Mr. Sauce was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed crawfishing, fishing and hunting the land. He was a tugboat captain for 34 years with Garber Brothers and Double Eagle.
Mr. Sauce is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Richard Sauce; children, Peggy Sue Pike, Lloyd (Dina) Sauce, Jr., Clayborne Sauce and Eddie (Kacy) Norman; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Dale Businelle; and brothers, Robert Sauce and Clyde Sauce.
Burial is at Morgan City Cemetery.
