Soon-to-be ex-husband charged with assaulting wife

Lloyd “Tee” Wayne Stone, 61, a native of Texarkansa, Ar., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, July 12.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Blanchard Stone of Houma; his mother, Vernie Courtney Stone of Morgan City, La.; one son, Corey Stone and wife, Tifny, of Petal, Ms.; one daughter, Charmaine Stone of Houma; two brothers, Randal Stone and wife, Clara, of Spearville, and John Earl Stone and wife, Sharon, of Morgan City; one sister, Juanita Smith and husband, Charles, of Farmerville, La.; and three grandchildren, Nikolas Stone, Joshua Stone and Travis Stone.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Boyd Stone.
He was a retired electrical lineman with the City of Houma.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, July 14, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
