Logan Duane Young, 5, a native of Hammond, La., and resident of Ponchatoula, La., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.
Logan was a kindergarten student at Perrin ELC. He was resilient and so brave which inspired us all to be brave no matter what challenges life handed us. This young child who feared nothing, who loved 100 percent, who played full force, who always made others smile with a quick grin, will continue to live in our hearts forever. Our angel WILL live on
He is survived by his parents, Shana and Steven Howard Acosta; siblings, Andrew, Alyssa, Dylan and Caitlin; grandparents, Sheryl Joseph, P.J. and Marlene Acosta, Dennis Young Sr., and Vickie Harris; his aunts and uncles, Brian and Rebecca Daniel, Tim and Cindy Acosta, Todd and Robin Grubb, James and Dori Young, Tim Bain, and Tamarra Young; friends, Mama Shannon and Nik Nik; and 13 cousins, Tess, Joe, Killian, Blaike, Breckin, Collin, Natalie, Chris, Cody, Nick, Jamie, Marisa and Ben.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Joseph Jr.
