Lois Cheramie, 67, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, August 27.
She is survived by one brother, Whiley Cheramie; four sisters, Lena C. Terrebonne, Eula Breaud, Edith Hebert and Rosita “Ta Ta” Plaisance; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clovis and Rita Bernard Daigle; one brother, Eunice Cheramie; and two sisters, Beatrice Matherne and Louella “Lou” Cheramie.
She attended the “Center” and was a participant in Special Olympics. She was Catholic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to “The Center,” P.O. Box 405, Cut Off, La. 70345.
She was buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
