Lois Delaune Gros, 79, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Thursday, April 16.
She is survived by her sons, Sidney and Edward Gros Jr.; daughters, Alice Lasseigne and Pauline Vedros; brothers, Merlin and Johnny Delaune; sisters, Grace Gros and Mable Bailey; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. “Mann” Gros Sr.; parents, Sidney and Julienne Delaune; brothers, Clement Delaune, Morris Delaune, and John “Junior” Delaune; and sisters, Marcella Acosta, Mildred Forest and Ethel Hebert.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, at St. Philomena Church in Labadieville with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
