Lori Ann Ezell, 45, a native of Terrebonne, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007.


Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at New Zion Baptist Church. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.


She is survived by her mother, Mercedes Ezell; two sons, Keris and Kyland Ezell of Houma; two daughters, Keyonta and Kara Ezell of Houma; two brothers, Thomas “Skip” Ezell Jr. and wife, Sheri, and Bryan Ezell and wife, Denise, of Houma; three sisters, Kathy Ezell, Yolanda Ezell and husband, John, and Keya Ezell and husband, Donald, of Houma; and one granddaughter, Keyonce Ezell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. Ezell Sr.; and her grandparents, Paul and Katie Henry and Samuel and Emily Ezell.

She was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church, a member of the Inspirational Choir, and she was a nursery attendant at New Zion Baptist Church.

Her greatest joy was meeting people, going to church, singing in the choir and dancing. Her granddaughter was the joy of her life.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
