T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010Lorraine Singleton Robinson, 58, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010.
Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Robinson Jr.; sons, Robert III, Cornell, Fornell, Derrick, Roland, Terrel and Kirk Robinson, all of Houma; daughters, Nicole, Keisha and Dominic Robinson and Tammy Twiggs of Houma; brother, the Rev. Jerome Singleton; sisters, Shirley Grant, Ethel Stewart, Joyce Williams, Geraldine Jenkins and Adelia Singleton; and 35 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah and Mary D. Singleton; brothers, Isaiah Jr., John and Rudolph Singleton; sisters, Barbara Delandro and Lucille Gray; grandparents, John and Bertha Singleton.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Community Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Feb. 23, at New Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Houma.
She will be buried at Union Benevolent Cemetery in Houma.
Community Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
