October 11, 2010Louella Holly, 75, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010.
Ms. Holly was a member of Mount Oliver Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Scruggs; stepdaughter, Doretha Blinks; brothers, Ernest, Lawless, Wilbert and Arthur Lee Williams; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Washington Holly Sr.; parents, Henry Sr. and Ethel Polk Williams; two sons, Leross and Chester Nixon Jr.; one sister, Albertha Turner; and two brothers, Henry Jr. and Hudson Williams.
She is buried at Brooklyn Cemetery in Raceland.
