Terrebonne’s derelict vessel removal first phase complete
June 22, 2011Louis E. Pitre Jr., 85, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., died Monday, June 20, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Timmy Pitre; daughters, Gail (Larry) Rogers, Kathy (Earl) Varnum, Karen (Johnny) Rogers, Corena (Jerry) Ledet and Patty (David) Lefort; half brother, Joseph Cheramie; half sisters, Jane Cheramie, Rita Guidry and Delta Guillory; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sr. and Lazy Pitre; and half brother, Gelpi Cheramie. (Falgout)
