Louis John St. Martin, 63, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011.
Mr. St. Martin was a trial lawyer who represented injured individuals his entire career, focusing on oilfield and maritime claims but also representing those injured in aviation and automobile accidents. He pursued a love of aviation and evolved into a pilot with almost professional level of skill and experience. His humble generosity, advocacy for those in need, depth of knowledge at many aspects of life in the arts, sciences and business and his sense of humor will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Linda St. Martin; sons, Zachary and Joshua St. Martin; daughters, Mia St. Martin and Samantha Reeves; stepsons, David (Michelle) Henley and Rob (Candie) McDougle; and brothers, Paul and Michael St. Martin.
Private family services will be held at the family home.
