Mass tort against BP anticipated

April 11, 2011Louis P. Richard Sr., 86, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011.
He is survived by his daughters, Dianne (Jessie) Cressione, Nancy (Tommy) Roques, Judy (Tommy) Abadie and Beverly (Paul) Guillot; son, Louis Richard Jr.; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Kreig and Kris Cressione, Doreene Bourgeois, Thomas Roques Jr., Melissa Folse, Bud and Scott Abadie and Kristy Boudreaux; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Z. Richard; parents, Clerfe and Luda Richard; sisters, Tolie Blanchard and Nelda Orgeron; and one grandson, Kevin Cressione Sr.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lafourche Home especially Susan, Mac, and his Angel and Journey Hospice for their care and help during his stay.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Samart)
