Louise “Toot” Marie Chiasson Fremin, 85, a native and resident of Choupic, La., died surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, October 5.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Paul Fremin Jr.; two daughters, Jean Fremin Gauthreaux and husband Bobby and Lila Fremin Boudreaux and husband Melvin; one stepbrother, Russell Naquin Sr.; one sister, Adeline Naquin; five grandchildren, Stephanie Gauthreaux Uzee and husband Kip, Shane Gauthreaux and wife Renee, Chad Gauthreaux, Lance Boudreaux and wife Kristy, and Eric Boudreaux and wife Christy; and five great-grandchildren, Brennan and Colin Uzee, Caroline and Grant Gauthreaux and Ethan Boudreaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Cecile Chiasson; and one brother, Adley Chiasson.
She was loved by many.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay, La., with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
