Louman “Toupee” J. Cheramie, 88, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014.
He is survived by his children, Douglas (Linda) Cheramie and Elda (Wade) Allemand; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Cheramie; parents, Theodore and Julia Cheramie; son, Pete Cheramie; brothers, Richard, Levy, Waldo, Ellis and Hector Cheramie; and sisters, Elda Martin, Pauline Pitre, Bertha Lorraine and Ezola, Angeline and Augusta Cheramie. (Falgout)
