October 19, 2010Louverda Charpentier Chabert, 80, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010.
Ms. Chabert was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Buster (Kathleen), Scotty (Jude) and Tony (Julie) Chabert; daughters, Bobbie (Philip) Chiasson, Kathy (Bobby) Rousse and Dolly (Jimmy) Williford; brother, C. J. Charpentier; sisters, Judy Collins; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sonnie Sr. and Gertie Hunter Charpentier; one grandson, Benji Chabert; and one brothers, Sonnie Charpentier Jr.
She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
