Lyle George LeCompte, 54, a native and resident of Chauvin, Louisiana, died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
Mr. LeCompte was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Marie Lirette LeCompte; son, Myles LeCompte, parents, Odis F. and Janice Duplantis LeCompte; brothers, Kyle (Gail) LeCompte, Blaise, Todd (Jenni), Odis Jr. and Drew (Brandi) LeCompte; sisters, Stacie (Tommy) Belisle, Lisa LeCompte and Wendy (Bryan) Bunn; three grandchildren; father-in-law, Delvin “Papoose” Lirette; brothers-in-law, D.J. (Joanna) Lirette and Ricky (Brenda) Lirette; and sister-in-law, Ida Cherry.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilsey and Allie Duplantis and Roosevelt and Celeste Bergeron LeCompte; and mother-in-law, Rosale LeBouef Lirette.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
