Mabel Pauline Pounders, 91, a native of Pigget, Ark., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, February 10, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday at Lewis Funeral Home in Palmyra, Mo. (Phone 573-769-2233) for time of service, with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.


She is survived by two sons, Charles White and wife, Charlotte, and James White and wife, Carol; three brothers, Elwood, Charles and Waymond Small; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Holson and Helen Hinson; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; her parents, Onnie and Lela Mae McAdams Small; one son, John David White; and three brothers, John, Willard and Ray Small.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Hannibal, Mo.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
