Mable Pitre Galjour, 77, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carol P. Galjour; son, James Peter Galjour; daughter, Anne Galjour; sisters, Virline Gisclair and Jeanette Lafont; and grandchildren, Ian Mayne and Caitlyn Galjour.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Alzina Danos Pitre; and brothers, Harold “T-Brown” Plaisance, Bertman Pitre and Hayman Pitre.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she was also a wonderful Blackjack player. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
