T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010Madonna Fitzgerald Gyer, 88, a native of Enid, Okla., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.
Mrs. Gyer was a member of First United Methodist Church of Houma, as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star – Ruth Chapter of Enid.
She is survived by her son, Dr. David (Connie) Gyer of Houma; and four grandchildren, Jill (Sloan) Newman, John (Copper), Charles and Ashley Gyer.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gyer; and parents, James and Ethyle Gumm Fitzgerald.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at First United Methodist Church of Houma. A funeral service will be held in Enid at a later date.
She will be buried at Covington Cemetery in Covington, Okla.
