July 18, 2011Mae Rita “Shirley” Crochet, 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, July 12, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Michael Sr. (Linda) Himel, Sandra (Dave) LeBlanc, Kenneth (Heidi) Crochet, Jane (Rick) Lobur and Joan (Wylie) Jewell; brother, Kirby Himel; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Justillien and Elenora Himel; brothers, Andrew, Lester, Roy and Maurice Himel; and sister, Dorothy Himel.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
