Majesta Thomas Price, 82, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, May 26, at 11:45 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Adriel Plaisance Price; sons, Gary Price, Errol Price and wife Cala, Kevin Price and wife Darleen and Majesta “Jess” Price and wife JoAnne; daughters, Cynthia Ledet and husband Ronnel, Evelyn Stephens and husband Charles Jr., and Theresa Picou and husband Alex Sr.; brothers, Floyd Price and Horace Price Sr.; sisters, Sylvia Stikeleather, Shirley Elliot and Violet Benoit; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Duffy and Lena Roddy Price; daughter-in-law, Cora Price; sister, Gloria Pellegrin; and one great-grandchild.
He was a parishioner and Sacristan at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the funeral to follow. He will be buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
