Mandry J. Bourgeois Sr., 87, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Paradis, La., died at 4:26 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Bourgeois; sons, Magnel (Maria) and Jimmy (Phyllis) Bourgeois; daughters, Linda Holland, Brenda Vacari and Jeanne Bourgeois; stepdaughters, Judith (Vernon) Comardelle and Margaret (Phillip) Davis; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Belanger; son, Mandry Bourgeois Jr.; stepson, Johnny Cullins; brother, Joe Bourgeois; and sisters, Dorothy Fincher and Rita Rhodes.
Burial was at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands, La. (Falgout)
