Manuel “Manee” Joseph Rodrigue, 61, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011.
Mr. Rodrigue was a retired police officer for Nicholls State University. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at crawfish and crab boils and other cookouts.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Melancon Rodrigue; son, Beau (Tammy Cortez) Rodrigue; and brothers, Mack Sr. and James Rodrigue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Malkior and Marie Sella Oubre Rodrigue; brother, Chester Rodrigue; and three sisters, Virgie Loup, Merline Oubre and Judy Ordoyne.
He is buried at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
