Margaret Portier Derrick, 64, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014.
She is survived by her husband, John Derrick Jr.; mother, Ora Portier; daughter, Suelin Boudreaux; son, Christopher Boudreaux; stepchildren, Craig Giroir, Merry Flemming, John and Craig Derrick, Allie Miller and Lanie Orgeron; sisters, Phyllis Portier, Yvonne Guidry, Kathy Lirette and Mable Croker; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Portier Sr.; son, Kenton Boudreaux Jr.; brothers, Alvin Jr. and Randy Portier; and sisters, Lillian and Bessie Portier.
Burial is at St Francis No. 2 Cemetery. (Samart)
