‘Crimes of the Heart’: Tragedy, laughs

Margie T. Dupre Fadler, 72, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011.


Mrs. Fadler was employed as a dietician for Sainte Genevieve Memorial Hospital. She was treasurer of D.O.E.R’s Ham Radio Club, a member of Sainte Genevieve Catholic Church in Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and a life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son, Jory (Cathy) Authement; four grandchildren, Darren, Ashley, Natasha and Brianna; sister, Barbara (Elmer “Buddy”) Stringer; nieces Tara Stringer and Carla (Michael) Thibodaux; nephew, Bart (Pam) Stringer; and their sons, Joshua and Zachary.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Loveless and Edna Dupre; first husband, Johnny Authement; and second husband, Ray Fadler.

There will be no calling hours. The family will have a graveside service at 11:15 a.m. March 25 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
