Marguerite Carter Barrios, 90, a native of Fort Smith, Ark., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011.
Mrs. Barrios was a member of United Methodist Church of Matthews.
She is survived by her sons, Robert and John Barrios; daughters, Kathy Chauvin, Carol Vecchio and Nancy Barrios; brothers, David and Allen Carter; sisters, Delores Owens; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Louis Henry Barrios; parents: Roy and Marguerite Hoffman Carter; brothers, Roy and Jack Carter; sisters, Roma Gooch and Sammie Burnette.
She is buried at Barrios Cemetery. (Chauvin)
