February 25, 2011Maria “Mamaw” Breland, 86, a native of Germany, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Jenny Hawthorne and Penny (David) Schulze; son, David (Carolyn) Schlamm; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bobby Hawthorne.
