Marian May Verret Derouen, 87, a native of Websterville, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Mrs. Derouen was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Russell Derouen; brother, Fernand Verret; sister, Mary Prudhomme; children, Ellen Lirette, Penelopy Kimball, Jane West and Chris and Linda Derouen; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Derouen Jr.; parents, Fernest and Edna Verret; brothers, Walter, Earl, Wilson, Howard Sr. and Ulyless Verret; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 27, and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Interment will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
