Marie Degruise Pertuit

Marie Degruise Pertuit, 93, a resident and native of Raceland, La., died at 3:15 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006.

Visitation will be from 9 until funeral time, Nov. 1, 2006, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, La. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m., Nov. 1, 2006, at St. Mary Catholic Church, preceeding a burial service at St. Mary Cemetary.

She is survived by three sisters, Lucille Benoit, Corinne Fabre and Belinda Fabre.

Mrs. Pertuit is preceeded in death by her husband, Whitley Pertuit; her parents, Pierre and Catherine Zeringue Degruise; and her sister, Annette Bourgeois.

She was a parishoner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Daughters.

Arrangements are under the direction of Jerry Boudreaux of Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La.
