Marie Louise Guidry Gaudet, 71, a native and resident of Raceland, La., entered into rest Tuesday, Aug. 18.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Douglas Gaudet; one son, Lonie Gaudet and fiancé Louisa Chauvin; one daughter, Mae Hitt and husband Lawson; one brother, Willie Guidry; one sister, Dorothy Foret; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Widley and Marie Theriot Guidry.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Entombment will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
