‘Boo-seum’ back, better than ever
October 13, 2011Marie Plaisance Vedros, 98, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011.
She is survived by her grandsons, Edmond Jr. and Joey Sr. Vedros; great-grandchildren, Patricia Schultz, Angel Pertuit and Joey Vedros Jr.; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcide Vedros; son, Edmond Vedros Sr.; parents, Millien and Nola Plaisance; sisters, Manola Bourg, Clara Dempster, Elveria Parks and Laura Maura; and brothers, Anatole, Noah, Millien Jr., Albert, and Charles Plaisance.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland with burial to follow at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
