Marie T. Bourgeois, 81, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, July 30, at 10:35 p.m.
She is survived by one son, Andrew Bourgeois and wife Judy; one daughter, Lucy Himel and husband Andrew Jr.; one brother, Roland Thibodaux Sr.; one sister, Loretta Ponvelle; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Bourgeois; her parents, Edgar Thibodaux and Lucina Haydel Thibodaux; one brother, Robert Thibodaux Sr.; two nephews, Roland Thibodaux Jr. and Robert Thibodaux Jr.; and one great-great-grandchild, Brooklynn Himel.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, August 3, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, La., with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
